JOEY LOEBKER
Teacher / Artistic Director
​​​A Cincinnati native and an active educator in the Forest Hills School District. He is a graduate from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in education and has been involved with many different theatre and film programs across the city. He has spent numerous hours working at theatre and film camps in order to create top quality art for the community. As a product of the Forest Hills School district, he is very excited to return as a director to contribute to the excellent education that is offered to the students here at Turpin High School.

EMMA MIDDLETON-LOEBKER
Producer
A clean energy professional in Cincinnati. She graduated from Xavier University in 2020 with a B.A. in Sustainability, Economics and Society. She has been volunteering with high school students around the Cincinnati area for the past four years. She loves the visual arts and is excited to be a part of the Turpin Theatre production team.

ALEC BOWLING
Director
Alec has been with the team since the 2020-21 season. With acting as his primary performance background, he trained at The Barrow Group and has performed professionally in Cincinnati and New York City. Alec is also a published author and composes original scores for many of Turpin’s productions. By day, Alec is a marketing executive. He is thrilled to get to work with such a great team of directors and students.

ANDREW LEONE
Technical Director
Andy is a former student and former technical director for Turpin High School. As a graduate of University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music, he has worked in theaters across the country. Now back in Cincinnati, he's excited to work with this great group of students and directors for another great season at Turpin.

JORDAN SLEMONS
Choreographer
Jordan graduated from Anderson High School in 2019 and she choreographed for the film and theatre programs during her years at AHS. She grew up dancing at her mother's dance studio and received several accolades for dance across the country. She currently attends the University of Cincinnati majoring in Exercise Science. She is excited to join the Turpin Theatre family and share her dance knowledge.

KRISTEN HOLLOWOOD
Vocal Director
Kristen grew up in the Forest Hills School District and was a graduate of Anderson High School. While studying Vocal Performance at Lee University, she caught the teaching bug during a vocal pedagogy class. When she graduated, she returned home to teach voice lessons, then started music directing in the FHSD where her love for theatre originated. She has been a music director for Nagel Middle School since 2013, and has also assisted Anderson Theatre. This is her second year working with Turpin Theatre. Kristen is grateful for the team at Turpin, and also to her husband Peter for his encouragement and support, and their two girls who share the same love for music!

SAM SADLER
Sound Advisor
Sam is a proud 2019 alumnus of Anderson High School, where he participated in many shows including Hamlet, Into the Woods, and She Kills Monsters. He is currently a student at Xavier University, pursuing a BA in Theatre and a BA in Computer Science. He works as an AV Technician for 3CDC's production department, putting on concerts at Fountain Square, Memorial Hall, and Washington Park. Sam it thankful to Joey, Alec, and Malerie for inviting him onto wonderful team.

KATHLEEN LEONE
Props Advisor
Kathleen (Kat) is a graduate of Cincinnati State with a degree in Electrical Engineering--Biomedical Equipment. She also graduated from Oak Hills High School, which is where she found her love of theater. She worked as part of the Xavier University Theatre Department as Props Master before leaving for Cincinnati State. She is not only excited to have found her way back to theatre, working with this great group of students and directors, but also to be working on productions with her husband, Andy Leone.

STEVEN FUNKE
Teacher / Conductor
Steven is in his seventh year teaching at Turpin, and this is his fifth production with Turpin Theatre. He's excited to be back working with all the awesome students and staff involved with making these productions come to life. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys traveling and hiking with his wife Meredith and spending time with their two dogs, Macie and Winston. Mr. Funke is a graduate of NKU. Go Norse!

ALEX KAUFMAN
Lighting Advisor
Having earned her degree in Theatre from Bowling Green State University, Alex brings a wealth of experience in technical lighting to Turpin Theatre. She is excited to join the team and is eager to collaborate with the next generation of theatrical professionals

PEYTON ORME
Dressing Advisor
Peyton is currently a sophomore at the University of Cincinnati DAAP, majoring in Fashion Design. She is pursuing a career in costuming and also works as a makeup artist. After working as the Costume Director for the Anderson and Turpin co-production of Chicago, she's so excited to continue teaching and mentoring the talented students of Turpin Theatre. She is also grateful to be given the opportunity to work with the department!

IAN BAKER
Assistant Vocal Director
Ian is a film composer, conductor, and multi-instrumentalist. He earned his degree from New York University, where he had the opportunity to compose for student films, as well as gain experience conducting symphonies, pit orchestras, and ensembles in the recording studio. As a former film composer and actor in Anderson High School's theatre program, he's excited to make his return as a music director in the Forest Hills schools. He enjoys sharing his passion and knowledge for music with the next generation of great musicians.

DANIELLE HAWKSLEY
Lighting Advisor
Danielle earned her BFA in Stage Management from Northern Kentucky University, where she first honed her passion for the theatrical arts. After graduation, she expanded her expertise in lighting by working with companies such as Vincent Lighting Systems, Prestige AV & Creative Services, and All-in Productions. With a wealth of knowledge in both stage management and lighting, Danielle is thrilled to now be mentoring and working with a new generation of theatre technicians. She is passionate about fostering creativity and collaboration within the industry and is excited to continue contributing to the world of live theatre.
